DHI Hair Transplantation

DHI hair transplantation, called Direct Hair Implantation, is considered one of the most commonly used hair transplantation techniques today. Thanks to this method, which aims to cover the hairless areas by intensifying them without damaging the hair and healthy roots in the skin, a dense and natural-looking hair transplantation is performed.

In the DHI hair transplantation method, hair follicles taken from the nape of the person are generally preferred. The healthy hair follicles located at the nape of the neck are carefully removed with the micromotor device, one of the most advanced technological devices. Then, the removed hair follicles are placed in a special solution, thus ensuring that each hair follicle maintains its vitality. After the removal of the roots from the donor area is completed, anesthesia is applied to the area where the hair transplantation will be performed and the transplantation process is started. It is extremely important to have a hair design suitable for the person before DHI. In this way, new hair follicles are placed in accordance with the direction of growth of each hair and the natural hair structure is preserved. Then, the healthy roots removed safely with micro tips are directly planted in the areas where hair loss is experienced.

The most obvious difference between the DHI technique and the Sapphire FUE technique begins at the stage of hair follicle transplantation. In the DHI technique, holes (channels) are not opened where individual hair follicles will be placed, as in the sapphire FUE technique. In the DHI technique, hair follicles taken from the donor area are placed in pens called CHOI and thanks to these pens, hair follicles are directly transplanted to the hairless area. In other words, channel opening and hair follicle placement are done at the same time. In this way, there is no need to shave the area where the hair follicles will be placed in the DHI method. This is one of the reasons why the DHI technique is preferred the most. The DHI technique provides a great advantage especially for our female clients.
